The newest models are scary good.

You can duplicate a complex application in a few hours. Creative domains we thought were “safe,” like motion graphics, video editing, and 3D modeling, are now within reach of AI. (We built the launch video for Adapter × SpaceX Super Intelligence entirely in Opus 5.5 — no After Effects required.)

A common refrain you hear is that now that execution is “easy,” taste is the differentiator.

But how do you develop taste? Not by pontificating or moodboarding.

It’s by doing the work. Having your hands in the clay, learning what you like and don’t, what’s possible and what’s not. Execution is where your kernel of an idea has the chance to blossom or die.

Execution is also where ideas themselves come from. Your starting idea is never where you end up; doing the work generates new ideas that strengthen it or take it in a wholly new direction.

It’s the same as it ever was: you still need a great idea coupled with tenacious execution.

So, what’s changing?

  1. The floor is rising every day. Everyone can slopcannon impressive-looking things. But producing something distinctive (and that makes sense!) takes good judgment along with the perseverance to make it great.

  2. Small, elite creative teams that run AI-native will outperform. More of their time can go into developing the idea, trying things, and pushing the work further.

That’s what we’re building at Conspiracy.

Stay sneaky, stay cheeky,
Max
